| How to transfer your software license from old computer to new computer |

Can we transfer our purchased licenses from an existing computer to the new computers after the software is uninstalled from the current computers? Yes, you need to deactivate the software licenses on the existing computers first. And then transfer and activate the software license in the new computers. 1)Open the software on the old computer, select HELP, and press the deactivate license button in the about software window. You can access [HELP] --> [about software] --> [deactivate license] 2)Uninstall the software on the old computer. 3)Install the software on the new computer. 4)Activate the software with your ID and password on the new computer. You can deactivate and move your software license up to 4 times. |
| How to solve the issue I can not save my custom EXCEL template output configuration or my general tolerance table. Also I can see the warning 'Read Only - No Write Permission' next to Define QA Attributes Table. |

This happens when users log on Windows computer with the user account that does not have write permission for Excel template output configuration and general Tolerance configuration files in QA-CAD.
(Normally admin account has the write permission. Some user account does not have due to their company's IT policy at default settings.) The directory where Excel and Tolerance configuration files are stored can be seen in: Edit > Preferences > Administrator > QA Attributes and Tolerance storage location Normally the below is the folder path. C:\ProgramData\GuthCAD\QA\en If users does not have full read and write permissions for the above folder ,en , settings cannot be saved. In this case, they need to ask their IT administrators to let their Windows accounts have read and write permissions on the en folder. |

| QA-CAD GD&T capture problem |
| If you can not capture GD&T feature control frames in QA-CAD, please check if our GD&T font file, GuthCAD-GDT.ttf, has been installed in your PC. How to check: go to Fonts Settings in Control Panel in your PC and type GuthCAD-GDT(please click here for your reference). If you can not find the GuthCAD-GDT.ttf, re-install QA-CAD and reboot your PC. Then check GuthCAD-GDT.ttf in Fonts Settings again. |
